Is PS3 any good? I must admit, I've never really progressed from my Atari...
Pac Man was my hero.
It's awesome. I was never really that into games (Bad Smell had an Xbox but never got into it) but really like the PS3.
The launch game Resistance: Fall Of Man is really impressive.
The graphics are fantastic and seeing as it doubles as a Blu-ray player I think it's almost worth $1000 (almost - but not quite).
Heard through the grapevine that the price will be as much as $200 less before the end of the year as Sony has found a way to cut manufacturing costs.
But I agree about the old-school games... we had an Apple IIc (no Commodore 64 for us) complete with Lode Runner and Prince Of Persia... the Xbox version of Prince of Persia just isn't the same (ok it's better).
And Lemonade Stand... ah, the memories.
I had an Apple IIC as well!! Did you have the racing car game where you have to control the car with the arrows on the keyboard?!?! I used to play that for frigging hours and hours! And those big old floppy discs... Ahh, memories...
No I didn't have that, but we did have Frogga.
Frogga sucked.
The only game I've ever played on Play Station was SingStar - it wasn't pretty...

I am more excited about the PS3 launch, and I'm not very excited about that.
They did the main entrance up gfrom the street completly Red Carpet, Red Curtain, Illuminating lights, nude dancers covered in body paint

All I noticed was a bunch of barely legal girls in see-through dresses and bad makeup. And what was with the girl on the door in the white "cut-out" dress? Tragic.
Feeling particularly bitchy today as I'm hungover. Roll on 5 o'clock...
The place is beginning to give me the irrits.
