Welcome Lady Goon

"Wine in a box, affectionately known as GOON to most Australians, has become a symbol of a cheap, enjoyable afternoon in the park. Try pegging the bladder to a Hills Hoist Clothes line for a fun game of 'Goon of fortune'."

Goon-of-fortune

Goon-of-fortune can be played at any good party, or gives any shit party a good kick. All that is needed is a goon bag and a clothesline. Everyone takes his or her position under the clothesline & the bag is pegged on. The clothesline is spun around while everyone is singing the theme song for WHEEL-OF-FORTUNE. The lucky person the bag lands on gets to have a good mouthful & the bag line is spun again till everyone is too drunk to spin."
I would just like to take the opportunity to welcome a new reader to our blog, affectionately known as Lady Goon, or Your Royal Highness.....depending on how many sheets to the wind we are at the time.

Some classic Lady Goon moments:

* Getting a taxi from her place to the IGA Cremorne when she lives 2 streets away.

* Coining the phrase "one way Jason".

Yes but those 2 streets do seem like eternity when feeling under the weather!!! Tis I Lady Goon herself who also coined the term, dead end jason!!!!!!

One way, dead end Jason with burnt out car shells on the side of the street.

A fun day was had by one and all!!! Don't know why we spoke about Jason so much, there isn't much to him from what I have heard! Don't know if I should feel flattered or not that he asked Bad Smell if he should go for Miss Contradiction or myself the night we all met - I feel quietly lucky now!

"feeling under the weather" eh?

I think you mean drunk.

Ok, you got me, Was plastered!!! And it wasn't from my place to IGA, it was from hole home which is pretty much the same thing. Might I add I also asked the cab driver to do a U turn on murdoch street and take me through the drive thru of maccas where I purchased enough food to feed the whole of Cremorne!

Sometimes on a Sunday I am too "under the weather" to walk the two - yes two - blocks to Dominos to pick up a pizza so I make them deliver it, costing myself $10 in the process.

I guess that should make me feel better that someone else is as lazy as Iam but in a strange way
feel slightly dissapointed that I attract these kind of sloths to be friends of mine!

Not sloths... heavy drinkers.

There is a difference.

Another wasted afternoon at the hole was had, but laughed at 2 drunk locals that had been on a pub crawl since 11am (Pete, George)! they were actually quite amusing which made the usual sombre atmosphere bearable (just).

I thought Pete was banned?
